Futures are evaluated at completed 15-minute and 1-hour boundaries. Qualifying alerts go to enabled channels; both qualifying intervals for one contract share one message. No routine hourly messages.

The access token is saved in the app's protected local configuration file. It stays hidden in the UI and is never written to app logs.
Use Upstox TOTP to get a new token

Requires TOTP enabled on your Upstox account. Enter the current 6-digit TOTP from your authenticator and your 6-digit Upstox PIN. The PIN and one-time code are used only for this request and are not saved. Your API key is saved in the protected app configuration after a successful request.

Upstox revokes the existing access token when it issues a new one. Any other app using that same token may need the replacement too.

Finbot's API key, PIN, and TOTP secret are available to this service through protected systemd credentials. Click below to generate a fresh code and request a token with those credentials. This may interrupt Finbot if it shares the same Upstox app session.

Upstox access tokens expire at 3:30 AM the following day. Use this when renewing; it does not store your TOTP authenticator secret or renew automatically.

SHARED GROUP

Telegram alerts

Choose whether the shared group receives futures alerts, option alerts, or both.

Enabled

Create a bot with @BotFather using /newbot. Add it to your group and allow it to send messages. Save its token below, send /start@YourBotUsername in the group, then select Find my group.

Save before testing. The test posts a real message in the saved group. Tokens stay hidden after saving.

Gmail / email alerts

Independent controls for futures and options.

Enabled

Gmail uses smtp.gmail.com, port 587 and STARTTLS. Enter your Gmail address and a Google App Password. Enable Google 2-Step Verification first. Google setup guide. A blank password keeps the saved credential.

Send email alerts for

The master switch controls automatic email alerts. Type selections apply to market alerts. Email works independently of Telegram.

Preview futures emailPreview options email

Coloured HTML emails include signal details and a score chart, with plain text fallback. Futures emails also show expiry, comparison timestamps and price/OI history for the same contract. Previews use sample data. Morning login/restart notices currently use Telegram only.

Use your provider's SMTP details. Providers may require an app password or SMTP credential. Save before testing; this sends a real email. Accepted means the mail server accepted it, not confirmed inbox delivery.
